My Rating

9/10

I see a pattern here with two Ryan Gosling films back to back. Maybe I will finally have to watch The Notebook next. I wanted to see this when it was in theaters and am now pretty salty I didn’t. This movie had to be awesome on the big screen. I was not excited for 2 and a half hours at first, and my friend said it doesn’t feel that long because the movie is so good, and I have to say that they were correct.

From the beginning the movie sucks you in. It is funny, dramatic, action packed, and it made me cry a few times. It stressed me out but it was a masterpiece. Ryan Gosling with glasses and that hair is definitely a thing, TikTok was correct.

I also come from a Biology bachelors degree, and did the Biotechnology program at my local career center for my last two years of high school. As a science nerd I really appreciated this movie. I loved Rocky and I love “amaze, amaze, amaze”. He cracked me up every time he was on the screen.

I really enjoyed the ending. This is definitely in my top 10 movies of 2026 so far.
