Welcome! My name is Bri and I am a 31 year old self-published poetry author out of Dayton, OH. I have recently returned back to the reading and writing world, and am ready to share my thoughts with you guys.

 

When I was a teenager I made my first gmail account and named it “Kindlingthefire@gmail.com”, and to this day I cannot remember what made me choose that name. I recently came across a quote by Lucy Larcom that says “If the world seems cold to you, kindle fires to warm it”, and that quote has made me want to rekindle (get it?) that name and use it for my website/blog.

 

The world is a crazy place these days, and I’d like to spread some positivity, knowledge and happiness in the world with my poetry, my reading adventures and more.
